Artist Statement

In my portfolio, you'll find all of my artworks that I've done and what I've wrote about each one of them. You'll also find things that we did as a class. You can call that a class experiment, I guess. I had to change somethings around to make it look nicer. I think my portfolio looks alright. In my opinion, I like it. My favorite that I've done is my blog header. I had to change my first layout to this layout because I wanted my blog header to show. I did work on photo shop more than last semester. I'm proud of myself for that.

This year I learned more about Photoshop than last year. It made me want to get Photoshop, too. I learned how to use the clone stamp and how to download brushes, etc. I also learned more about the cameras that we have been using. It has different modes that we can use. All the little things a camera needs to take a wonderful picture! I think I've done well in both Photoshop and photography. I did take nice pictures. I also did good with my Photoshop skills. I'm not an expert, but I'm learning step by step. Practice makes perfect, right? I struggled on the projects more because I had a hard time thinking of ideas. In the future, I might work more with pictures and Photoshop. I want to be a good photographer. I also want to learn how to make pictures look absolutely gorgeous.

My influence was the world. It inspired me becuase the world is different and it's unique. From the beginning that I've started this school year and to now, I've done better. I know more about Photoshop than I was when I came into this room. I had stronger ideas in projects. Overall I think my artworks are original. It's not all that. I've seen better. I still like my photos, but I know I can do better if I had time.

Personal Metaphor "Like a bird, traveling the world"

Like a bird, traveling the world

I chose this metaphor because I'm curious about whats on the other side. I want to see how other people are or see whats like to live in their place. I like to travel to places, to see their products that they sell. It's nice to see something that you don't see everyday. That's why I want to be like a bird, traveling the world. =]
I think I did well on making my own globe. The globe that I took, didn't go with the picture. I think I could have make myself better into a bird. The leg/feet doesn't look as nice. The difficult thing was putting the objects in the right places, trying to balance it out. I think this project was OK. I didn't really like this project, but I tried.
